How to dress in Jordan 🇮🇹 Come vestirsi in Giordania

Jordan is a tolerant country and tourists have no problems. However, we must keep in mind that we are still in a Muslim country and there are certain rules.

• Short shorts (not even men) or above-the-knee skirts, tank tops and a succinct dress should not be used. 

• If you visit mosques, a hooded scarf is usually provided at the entrance.

• Do not offend the inhabitants of the place where I live;

• Be comfortable and dress appropriately for what I am visiting.

• Don’t bring anything that will upset you if it goes bad. The sites you visit are mostly out in the open, dusty.

Going to the beach in Jordan: bikini or burkini?

On the private beaches of the Red Sea or the Dead Sea, there are no problems, you can go in bikinis. Some, you will not take off your clothes at all.

In general, however, tourists can wear the costume and nobody says anything.

This, clearly, in private beaches of hotels, to which you can access, paying a day ticket, even without overnight stay.

La Giordania è un paese tollerante e i turisti non hanno problemi. Bisogna però tenere presente che siamo comunque in un paese musulmano e ci sono certe regole.

• Non si dovrebbero usare i pantaloncini corti (neanche gli uomini) o le gonne sopra il ginocchio, le canottiere e un abbigliamento succinto in genere. 

• Se visiti le moschee, in genere all’ingresso viene fornito un foulard con cappuccio da indossare.

• Non offendere gli abitanti del luogo che mi ospita;

• essere a mio agio e vestirmi in modo appropriato per quello che sto visitando.

• Non portate niente che ti possa dispiacere se si rovina. I siti che visiterai sono la maggior parte all’aperto, polverosi.

• Capiterà di sederti per terra, su coperte sporche o direttamente sulla roccia.

Andare al mare in Giordania: bikini o burkini?

Nelle spiagge private del Mar Rosso o del Mar Morto, non ci sono problemi, si può andare in bikini. Alcune, non si toglieranno affatto i vestiti.

In generale però le turiste possono indossare il costume e nessuno dice niente.

Questo, chiaramente, nelle spiagge private di alberghi, alle quali si può accedere, pagando un biglietto giornaliero, anche senza pernottamento.
