The mine is protected by the INAH and has been open to the public as a historical museum since 2014.

The Pre-Hispanic Mine was discovered during the renovation of the hotel Posada de la Misi Mis Here I was able to get acquainted with the mining techniques used in ancient times and see the remains of silver, gold, zinc and other mined minerals. Silver ores illuminate the entire mine, giving the feeling of being in a different world. The elevator is from other times.

La Mina Prehispánica de Taxco è stato scoperta durante la ristrutturazione dell'hotel Posada de la Misión e risale a più di 500 anni fa, risultando quindi preispanico. Qui ho potuto conoscere le tecniche minerarie utilizzate nei tempi antichi e vedere i resti di argento, oro, zinco e altri minerali estratti. I minerali d'argento illuminano l'intera miniera, dando la sensazione di trovarsi in un mondo diverso. L'ascensore è d'altri tempi.
