Unfortunately, I only got to observe the statue in passing. It was built to commemorate the end of the Cristera War and serves to remember the struggle for religious freedom in Mexico. The view is breathtaking! It is similar to the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Brasile.

🇮🇹 Purtroppo ho avuto modo di osservare la statua solo di passaggio. E' stato costruito per commemorare la fine della guerra Cristera e serve a ricordare la lotta per la libertà religiosa in Messico. La vista è mozzafiato! E simile alla statua del Cristo Redentore a Rio de Janeiro in Brasile, ma in scala molto più ridotta!
