Voted one of the top spots to get a Donair. The King of Donair has been in business since 1973, after Peter Gamoulakos introduced the Gyro to Halifax. He tweaked it with spiced ground beef and a super sweet sauce, creating the iconic Donair meat and sauce. It wasn't our favorite thing we've ever eaten, but it's iconic to Nova Scotia and something you have to try on your visit.
