This was the summer home for Alexander Graham Bell, the famed inventor of the telephone, along with many other items we use today.

The Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site in Baddeck, Nova Scotia, is a must-visit spot for history buffs. Great spot to learn about his early life and contributions to science with access to Mabel Bell's interpretive gardens. It has free admission and discounted overnight stays available making it great for a road trip stop on Cape Breton Island.
