This is by far the most popular hike in Nova Scotia. Known for sweeping views of the ocean with a gorgeous mountains backdrop this fairly easy 6 miles roundtrip (loop) has a nearly 900 ft elevation gain (almost all with stairs). This trail gets busy and they do close the parking lot if it's reaches capacity. So try to time your visit early (RV parking on site). If you're lucky you'll see moose or potentially bears, and definitely eagles.

The eco-system is extremely fragile here. The National Park built a boardwalk to allow visitors to explore the area without damaging the flora and fauna. Please stay on train and remember no drones, pets, or bikes here! Great for spring, summer or fall.
