Shubie Campground is the closest RV park to Halifax, located in the Dartmouth suburb (across the water from Halifax). You can get into town over the bridge if you have a car or by hopping on the ferry. It's super close to downtown Dartmouth with an awesome farmer's market and great restaurants and has great biking and hiking trails with a beautiful lake. The RV park itself isn't anything special but it's location and access to nature in such an urban setting is. We stayed 5 nights here and really enjoyed it to be able to explore the nearby area with a solid "home" base.
