Halifax is the capital of Nova Scotia and it's largest metro city. This important port city has a rich history, fantastic food and beverage scene, and is the best place for visitors to fly into to start or end their Nova Scotia road trip (if they are not driving in). Despite having over 500,000 residents it feels like a small city with an urban and tranquil vibe to it. We spent a total of 5 days here and wish we had more time to explore the city and the nearby suburbs. It's AMAZING during the summer!
