This church is located right next to the sea. From the parking lot you can walk to the sea or to the church. Both views are beautiful.

The fact that the church is so close to the sea is not a coincidence. The story goes that some sailors in the 12th century were trying to get to land, but the coast in this area is very dangerous. They prayed to God to get to land and they would built a church in that spot. And so they did.

The statue next to the church also has to do with this story, it is called "Landsýn" meaning "Land in Sight".
