Just across the street of one of my all time favorite places in Iceland, you will find the diamond beach.

This black sand beach often has icebergs scattered all over it. They look like diamonds in the sun. It's a beautiful view, but don't get too close the the icebergs, because the sea can be treacherous here as well.

From the glacier lagoon parking lot you can just walk underneath the bridge to the diamond beach. Or you can park the car on the parking lot on this side of the main road.
