At Lýtingsstaðir Horse Farm there is a turf house exhibition that tells the story of horses in Iceland. If you like to learn more about Icelandic history (especially regarding horses) it's nice to have a look a the turf house.
They are also building an exhibition about Icelandic sheep dogs, so you can learn about their history as well. This exhibition is supposed to open at the end of 2024.
