In zoo's in other countries you will find all kinds of exotic animals. In this zoo you will only find animals that already live in Iceland. So if you want to see goats, sheep, horses, pigs or Icelandic foxes, than this is the place to be.

It's the perfect spot if you are interested in Icelandic animals. They have a lot of information and a lot of animals for you to see and some you can pet as well.

They are open all year round. I went there on one of the coldest days of the year and beside watching the animals I also enjoyed some really good waffels and tea :)

This is a perfect place if you are visiting with kids that are interested in animals!
