This is probably one of the most Insta-famous pools in Iceland. It is very photogenic because the scenery around it is just beautiful. But I am afraid it can also be quite busy.

From the car park it is only a short hike to the pool itself. There is an inside changing area, but no shower.

This pool has become quite popular, so there are a lot of people bathing in it, while the water flow is not super fast and there are no showers to clean yourself before the pool, so I have to mention it is not the cleanest pool in Iceland. And because of the algae in the pool it can also be quite slippery. I would personally not bath here because of the bad water quality.

If you like pools in the middle of nowhere, there are more options than this one. It is the most popular option, but not the best one in my opinion.
