If you've never walked on a glacier, but always wanted to experience it, Sleipnir tours can take you there.

From the parking place at Gullfoss you'll drive all the way to Langjökull. In summertime you'll have to switch vehicles half way. The second car is a massive one (like in the pictures), that will take you up the glacier.

Once you are on the glacier there's a chance to do some golf or sled down the glacier. The views are amazing and on a sunny day you don't want to forget your sunglasses.

This is a perfect family activity (minimum age is 6)!
