This place is another very Instagram-promoted place (like Stokksnes). It looks like an old Viking village, but it is actually just a film set.

Many people have filmed their Instagram reels here and it is a famous photo location. But just like Stokksnes, I am not the biggest fan. Mainly because it is so over promoted and some people really believe it is an old Viking village, while it is just "fake". The history nerd in me can not deal with this very well.

I feel like it is more interesting to visit the actual historical sites and turf houses.
