The Yi Yuan Chinese Garden in Bendigo is a charming spot inspired by the Imperial Palace in Beijing. With authentic architecture, sculptures, hand painted murals and a Buddhist Temple dedicated to The Goddess of Mercy.

Elise's Tips:

We particularly loved visiting in Spring but it looks beautiful at any time of the year. We loved watching the fish swimming in the ponds. You can also visit the nearby Golden Dragon Museum, It’s home to the world’s biggest processional dragon, Dai Loong Dragon.
