We stayed at Fern Cottage at Fern Falls Cottages for one night and it was such a cosy getaway - I'd highly recommend this place for a romantic winter stay! It had a four poster queen bed, open fire, huge spa, kitchenette with a continental breakfast hamper included for the first morning of your stay!

The best part though were the gardens - the cottage is nestled among giant mountain ashes, centenary tree ferns, camellias, rhododendrons, hydrangeas, and magnolias. You can walk around the gardens at night with the paths all lit up creating a beautiful after dark experience, you might even see a wombat!
