Steavenson Falls drops 84 metres into the valley below and has 4 different vantage points for viewing including a platform on either side, a bridge in front at a distance downstream and a platform at the top which can be accessed by a 800 metre walk uphill (epic views along the way)!
How to get there:
Located in the Steavenson Falls Scenic Reserve, access the walk to the waterfall from the car park at the end of Falls Road (sealed). There are toilets and picnic tables here. It's a 2 hour drive from Melbourne and a 15 minute drive from Marysville.
Elise's Tips:
This waterfall is very popular so I'd recommend visiting outside of public and school holidays and at peak times as the car park gets full quite quickly. You can also see this waterfall at night as the path is lit and the falls are floodlit until 11pm every day, offering a truly unique waterfall experience (pictured here).
