Johnny Alloo is a quirky cafe serving all day breakfast + lunch, coffee by St Ali + Proud Mary, wine, beer & aperitivi, pastry + cakes, baguettes + toasted sandwiches in the heart of Ballarat.

Originally built in the 1870’s, “Johnnys” underwent a transformation that lasted 14 months over 2018-19. This included exposing the beautiful solid brickwork, opening up the space and an inside-out redecoration with a contemporary take on the mid century & art deco design styles.
