We stayed the night by the Murray River and booked a waterfront pioneer themed cabin at Merool on The Murray at Tasman Holiday Park. We woke up for sunrise and watched from our doorstep as the sky lit up the house boats with colourful reflections on the water. The accommodation is pretty basic with a bed, bathroom and small kitchenette but it had such a quirky exterior and amazing river views it really was a bit special for a caravan park!
