Scenic drive through lush forest

The Black Spur drive is probably one of my favourite roads in Victoria with 34kms of incredibly lush rainforest ferns and mountain ash trees that tower over the road while you wind your way across the ranges and head to Victoria's High Country. If you have time to set up your GoPro beforehand or get a family member or friend in the passenger seat to film the road while you're driving I promise you won't be disappointed.

There's also a couple picnic areas along the way that you can pull into at the start and end of the windy road. Please keep in mind that it is 80km/h so if you're not comfortable driving at that speed just pull over when you get the chance to let locals, motor bikes and other drivers get past you. If you do get motion sickness you might also need to prepare yourself for this one ... there's lots of narrow turns.
