This is one of three waterfalls in Lal Lal Falls Reserve and plummets 34 metres into the gorge below. It can be viewed from the top of the waterfall or at a distance from a viewing platform (pictured here). There is no safe access to the base of Lal Lal Falls due to unstable ground.

How to get there:

Access the walk to the waterfall from the car park on Lal Lal Falls Road (sealed). There are toilets, picnic tables, gas BBQs and shelters here. It's a 1.5 hour drive from Melbourne and a 15 minute drive from Buninyong.

Elise's Tips:

Visit in the morning to have full sun on the falls as well as in the Spring and Winter months for more of a heavy flow. This is a great spot to put up the drone to get a photo of you from the viewing platform with the wind turbines in the background.
