The Britannia Panopticon, located in Glasgow, Scotland, is one of the oldest music halls in Britain. Built in 1857 by Archibald Blair, it has a rich history of hosting various entertainments, from comedy acts to film shows. Over the years, it changed management and underwent renovations, including the installation of electric lighting. The venue closed in 1938 but was later restored and reopened for traditional shows. Today, it is preserved by a trust and continues to be a hub for community events and performances.
