  • January 1st: New Year’s Day

  • March-April: Easter. The Danes are off on Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Whit Monday. The dates of Eatser differ.

  • April-June: Ascension Day, which is 40 days after Easter Sunday.

  • May-June: Pentecost on Sunday and Monday. It is the seventh Sunday after Easter, which means it differs every year.

  • December 25th: Christmas Day

  • December 26st: 2nd Christmas Day
