The mellah of Marrakech, also known as the Jewish Quarter, is a historic neighborhood in Morocco that was established in 1558 to protect the Jewish community. Today, the Mellah is a popular tourist attraction, with efforts made to restore its heritage and preserve its cultural significance. You can find Lazama Synagogue and the Miaara Jewish cemetery here, as well as several European-style cafes and Moroccan restaurants.
