Stopfallet is a hidden gem in the forest of Älvdalen. A quiet, beautiful waterfall that’s perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful nature spot.

There’s a small parking area just off the gravel road, and from there, it’s an easy and short walk to the waterfall. The trail is clear and it winds gently through the forest. The last part down is somewhat steep and can be slippery. Wear appropriate footwear.

The waterfall isn’t huge, but the whole area has a calm and untouched feeling that makes it really special. Great for a quiet break, a few peaceful photos, or just sitting by the water for a while.
