About Xianggong Mountain

Sitting on the banks of the Li River, Xianggong Mountain has become the go-to spot for seeing the landscape around Yangshuo.

With the river and temperatures in the area, the first half of the year usually has a solid chance of getting some low-sitting clouds & mist - making it ideal for a sunrise photoshoot.

Getting to Xianggong Mountain

The mountain sits on the bank of the Li River - making the river itself one of the more popular ways to get there.

1. By land: You can get to the mountain by car, whether by yourself or through a driver or trip organised by your hotel/ taxi etc.

2. By river: You can also get a raft up from Yangshuo up to Xingping Town and then get a second bamboo raft up the base of the hill.

If you're planning to get there for sunrise, I'd recommend either driving yourself up to the gates of the scenic area, or discussing with your htoel about how to best get a ride up there with them.
