The Dome Pools hike in the Magaliesberg mountain range is a beautiful and unique hiking spot located near Mooinooi. Pack your swimmers, some sunblock and get ready for a great day out.

After a one-hour easy-to-moderate hike you'll arrive at some large and beautiful natural pools where you can swim, lay on the rocks, and enjoy some time in nature.

This 5.7-mile out-and-back trail is perfect for hikers, and walkers alike! Enjoy some peace and solitude on the trail, take a break at the many pools along the way, or brave the stunning cave grottos. A permit is required for entrance and you can pre-book through the Mountain Club of South Africa.

Pro tip: Usually only a max of 20 people are allowed to the pools per day, so if you're wanting to do this one it's best to plan ahead!
