The Beehive Hut Structures on the Dingle Peninsula in Ireland are called Clochans they were built with a Corbelled roof. Built without mortar, these ancient huts were crafted by stacking stone rings on top of each other to create a snug, pointed roof. These would have been inhabited from ancient times up to 1200 AD. While their exact age remains a mystery, they are believed to have housed hermit monks and followers of Saint Patrick. Despite weathering centuries of wind, rain, and curious sheep, these beehive huts still stand as humble reminders of Ireland's medieval stonemasons. This particular on is called Cashel Conorit is now occupied by 5 structures.
