Pico do Arieiro in Madeira is the TOP sunrise spot on the island -- so beware of crowds, but for good reason! It's got it all -- jagged mountains, lush valleys, and sunrise over a blanket of low clouds. Standing at 1818m above sea level, it's got easy access by car (although not gonna lie, the road up is treacherous) and is the starting point for the famous PR1 hike to Pico Ruivo. With facilities like a car park, restaurant, and souvenir shop, you can enjoy the stunning scenery and unique geology of the area even if you don't do the hike. There are also alternative viewpoints for a more peaceful experience.
