Praia do Carvoeiro ("Carvoeiro beach") is a very picturesque beach in the Lagoa area, in the Algarve region, Portugal. On top of the yellow cliffs, visitors can see several white houses which belong(ed) to local fishermen. The sand strip is quite limited so do make sure you arrive early in the high season, particularly in the summertime.

At Praia do Carvoeiro, visitors can join short boat rides that take you all along the nearby coast. There is also a wide range of bars and restaurants by the beach, which is quite convenient for those willing to explore the little town of Carvoeiro.
