Jochberg, located near Munich in the German Alps, is a popular day hike with stunning views of the surrounding lakes. Starting from the Kesselberg pass (parking available), the hike takes about 2 to 2.5 hours to reach the summit. The trail is well-maintained but can be steep in sections – sturdy footwear and sure-footedness are recommended. Just below the top, the Jocheralm offers refreshments during the summer season. The small parking lot fills up quickly on weekends, so make sure to arrive early!
