Campervan/ Motorhome/ Car rental companies

If you are hoping to rent a vehicle in the UK it's important to remember the following:

• Age Restrictions:
  Many rental companies won’t rent to drivers under 25, or they’ll add a young driver surcharge and ask for a larger deposit.

• ID Requirements:
  If you're travelling from overseas, you’ll need to bring your passport along with your driver’s licence. Some companies also ask for proof of address (like a utility bill or bank statement), especially for UK residents, so be sure to check with the rental company!

• International Driving Permits (IDPs):
  Depending on the country your licence is from, you might need an International Driving Permit. Always double-check with the rental company before you travel!

• Book early

  Be sure to book your rental early, especially if travelling in the summer! Rental vehicles (especially campervans) get snapped up quickly during peak season along the NC500.
