This 8.6 mile and 3,200 foot elevation gain hike is one of the more challenging hikes in the area, but brings you up to an incredible overlook of the Harding Icefield. Located in Kenai Fjords National Park you'll need to pay for a visitor pass or parking (or use your Annual Pass) to visit. There are multiple stopping points along the way, so I recommend bringing a snack or even lunch to enjoy at the top or at the Exit Glacier overlook. When we visited we saw a black bear and some dall sheep, so keep your eyes peeled! Although difficult, it's worth it! Watch our visit to Harding Icefield here!
