There are several restaurants around here which have superb views with the reflection off the water. You can get the photo without going to one and buying something but its not easy and maybe a little mean. Sigiriya Lion Face has a great view, is reasonably priced, and also has a swing that you can get a picture on with Lion Rock as a backdrop too
