Miles Canyon is a quick, must-see stop just outside Whitehorse where you can walk sturdy boardwalks and short loop trails to dramatic basalt cliffs and fast water; plan for a 20 to 40 minute visit. Wear good shoes because stairs and wet rock can be slippery, bring bug spray in summer and layers year-round because weather changes fast. There is a parking lot, interpretive signs, and a suspension bridge with great viewpoints.
