The best 5-day Swiss Alps itinerary with kids!

Take the train to Wengen. Exit the train station, head left & walk until you get to the gondola station that will be on your right. Take the gondola up to Mannlichen & make sure you buy a ticket for the Lisselote trail.

Once you get to the top, exit the station, walk to the right towards the playground. There's a restaurant, bathrooms, playground, open space to run or chill, & lots of trails. We spent hours in this area just taking it all in.

The Lieselotte trail is a cow-themed kids trail that has fun stations periodically along the trail. It's only 2 Miles down hill, but plan for plenty of time to play at each station. The trail starts behind the gondola station that's next to the giant cow. Once you get to the bottom of the trail, get on the gondola & head back up to the playground.

After you're done with the trail, you'll walk back to the same gondola station that you arrived on to head back down to Wengen. Spend some time exploring Wengen & taking in the views of the valley. There is a playground right in town & you can even purchase a wooden ball at the gondola station to use at the many ball runs throughout the town.
