The best time to view the falls is in the winter and spring, or after a heavy rain. During the wet season, there are many creek crossings along the way which makes the trail to the bay area falls an enchanted dream. During the summer, the grasses grow very tall and grow into the trail, making the trail overgrown, so watch out for the locals 🪳🪲🐍

The road is a little rough but paved most of the way until you hit the small entrance to the OHV area. Passenger car friendly unless the creek crossing is too high from recent rains.
