The Lago di Braies loop hike is an easy, scenic trail that takes you all the way around one of the most famous lakes in the Dolomites. The full loop is about 2 miles (3.2 km) and takes roughly 1 to 1.5 hours to complete at a relaxed pace. Along the way, you’ll pass through shaded forests, walk across rocky shorelines, and get constantly changing views of the crystal-clear lake and towering peaks. It’s perfect for all skill levels and a great way to experience the beauty of Lago di Braies beyond the main dock area.
