After countless years of erosion, a remarkable fissure has emerged within one of AlUla's iconic sandstone formations. The result is a captivating jar-like structure, shaped entirely by the forces of nature, although some claim it bears resemblance to a bottle or a bowling pin. The true interpretation awaits you as you embark on a visit to "Jabal Jarrah." To reach this site, begin your journey by SUV, making your way to Elephant Rock, and from there, hike to Jar Rock. From this vantage point, you can admire Elephant Rock itself, as well as the sweeping vistas of the valley, mountains, and farmland. It is important to note that Jar Rock lacks designated parking areas and facilities, and the hike involves traversing slippery rocks and a steep drop from the "jar." Due to these factors, this experience is not recommended for children.
