Pot Alley and the Mushroom Rock Nature Trail are such a stunning little gem in Kalbarri National Park, and the views are absolutely worth the trek. The walk is about a 2.5 km return, so it's not too hard but you’ll definitely get some great views along the way. Pot Alley itself is this secluded beach with classic red cliffs that drop straight into the turquoise water—such a dream.
As for the Mushroom Rock Trail, it’s a bit more relaxed but still super cool with the unique rock formations. The landscape is wild, and you’ll see those iconic mushroom-shaped rocks that the trail is named after. The whole spot feels really untouched and serene.
It’s a great spot to just kick back, take a few photos, and get a taste of the rugged coast. The walk doesn’t take long, probably about 45 minutes to an hour, depending on how much you want to stop and enjoy the views.
And as for pets, it’s not officially pet-friendly in some areas.
