Flat Rock Trail is a very easy trail directly off of the Parkway. It's a great stop to stretch your legs if you are driving between Asheville and Boone. The hike overlooks the valley near Linville NC and is dog/kid friendly. This is also a stunning hike during the fall that's easy for almost everyone!
