The airport very “basic” and quite similar to that of the other larger Islands: one long, narrow building that is only two levels. Let's just say that it is virtually impossible to get lost. All car rentals are located side by side in the large arrivals hall, just after leaving the hall where baggage is picked up. There is even a small aquarium and a children's play area.

🇮🇹 L'aeroporto molto "basic" e del tutto simile a quello delle altre Isole più grandi: unico edificio lungo e stretto che si sviluppa solo su due livelli. Diciamo che è praticamente impossibile perdersi. Tutti i noleggi auto si trovano uno a fianco all'altro nel grande atrio degli arrivi, subito dopo essere usciti dalla sala dove si ritirano i bagagli. C'è perfino un piccolo acquario ed un'area giochi per bambini.

Cicar is without a doubt the best car rental company in the entire Canary Islands. I have had the pleasure of renting with them 2 times within a couple of years: Lanzarote and Fuerteventura and their policy has never changed over time. The rates are always the lowest compared to other car rentals. Everything is always included in the rental price, including additional driver, full insurance without deductible, roadside assistance and unlimited mileage. CON: The insurance does not cover damage on unpaved roads (as is the case with all car rentals in Fuerte). The only drawback if you can call it that is the line for car pickup, always the one where there are the most people, since it is the car rental that goes for the most. The car rental is located inside the airport at the arrivals counter and is open until 11 pm.

🇮🇹 Cicar è senza dubbio il miglior autonoleggio di tutte le Isole Canarie. Ho avuto il piacere di noleggiare con loro per ben 2 volte nell'arco di un paio d'anni: Lanzarote e Fuerteventura e la loro politica non è mai cambiata nel corso del tempo. Le tariffe sono sempre le più basse rispetto agli altri autonoleggi. Nel prezzo del noleggio è sempre tutto incluso, compreso il guidatore aggiuntivo, assicurazione completa senza franchigia, assistenza stradale e chilometraggio illimitato. CONTRO: l'assicurazione non copre i danni su strada sterrata (del resto tutti gli autonoleggi a Fuerte). L'unico inconveniente se così possi definirlo è la fila per il ritiro auto, sempre quella dove c'è più gente, visto che è il noleggio auto che va per la maggiore. L'autonoleggio si trova all'interno dell'aeroporto al banco arrivi ed è aperto fino alle 11 pm.

This is a fossilized sand ravine reminiscent of landscapes you would find in the Midwest of the United States. It is one of the most hidden gems of Fuerteventura! “Barranco” translates as ”ravine of small boulders.” Now, it can be quite difficult to find it on your own, especially since it is not the most obvious place to visit: free parking here

"Barranco" si traduce come "burrone di piccoli massi". Ora, può essere piuttosto difficile trovarlo da soli, soprattutto perché non è il posto più ovvio da visitare: qui il parcheggio gratuito

Tindaya Mountain is considered Fuerteventura's most important natural monument. The mountain was a sacred place for the Majos, the aboriginal people of Fuerteventura. There are 300 rock carvings on the mountain. It is 400 meters high and on a clear day you can see the highest points in Tenerife and Gran Canaria. From the Mirador de Vallebrón you can enjoy incredible views of the mountain.

Black beach near Puerto del Rosario, with fine sand and in some areas pebbles . The sea is clean. Ideal for a sunset watching in absolute tranquility. When there is wind there is windsurfing and kitesurfing.

It's a really interesting place. That means you still have some culture. The main things to do here are shopping, tasty restaurants, and trendy bars. There are really a lot of them, but you will probably only spend one morning here, maybe. Puerto del Rosario is conveniently located for getting around the island far and wide.

Esperienza culinaria unica. Si nota l'amore e la passione con cui il cibo viene preparato e servito. Le Crocchette super deliziose, polipo eccellente, carne che si scioglie in bocca con un sapore eccezionale. Il menu era pieno di piatti deliziosi tra cui scegliere. Ah, c'è l'opzione GLUTEN FREE.
