The apartment is huge and has all the amenities, even a small terrace. It is on the top floor but fortunately there is an elevator. It is located in front of the bus stop, close to the waterfront, as well as the marina. The location is convenient because it allows you to get to Valletta, clubs, restaurants and the rest of the island. The owner is Italian. We were super, hyper, super comfortable! We found no problems with mold.

E' situato davanti alla fermata del bus, vicino al lungomare, oltre che al porto turistico. La posizione è comoda perché permette di raggiungere La Valletta, locali, ristoranti e il resto dell'isola. Il proprietario è Italiano. Noi ci siamo trovati super, iper, stra bene! Non abbiamo trovato problemi di muffa.

We weren't sure what to expect from Malta, but Sliema turned out to be an incredibly cosmopolitan place. Although Malta is dotted with traditional villages, in Sliema you can store in every store you would have at home. There is a really splendid modernist shopping center called The Point, which offers a wide range of stores and services.

In addition to the modern side, Sliema also boasts some beautiful traditional houses and charming streets to stroll through, and there are plenty of good-value restaurants. We stayed here and although we didn't spend much time in Sliema itself, we were really happy because you can get anywhere from here.

Anche se Malta è costellata di villaggi tradizionali, a Sliema puoi fare acquisti in ogni negozio che avresti a casa. Noi abbiamo soggiornato qui e nonostante non abbiamo trascorso molto tempo nella stessa Sliema, siamo stati davvero felici perché puoi raggiungere qualsiasi punto da quì.

Valletta is a 5-minute ferry ride from Sliema, which looks like a fairy tale from afar (and for that matter, even when you're in it!). Its Baroque architecture is a dream, and its steep streets allow you to enjoy more pastizzi and bread, Malta's national dish, without guilt. The constant up and down offers a little workout that makes each bite even sweeter.

We went in October for the white night, sensational to say the least: myriad concerts, dance performances, visual art, scattered through the streets and squares of Valletta from 7 p.m. until midnight, free museums. Here is the official website with the program:

The Malta City Gate, also known as Bieb il-Belt in Maltese, is a historic entrance to Valletta that has seen several transformations over the years. If you go there at noon or 4 p.m. (except Sundays), you can observe a cannon fired from the salute battery below. The cannons were traditionally used to protect the harbor from naval assaults, but later became a way to signal the exact time to ship captains, allowing them to recalibrate the chronographs on board. It is an alternative and fascinating experience for those in Valletta, offering a glimpse of the city's maritime history.

They are wonderful, offering stunning views of the Three Cities which you can access by a ferry ride of only five minutes. The Three Cities are filled with plaques detailing Malta's extraordinary history, making the visit a fascinating experience. It is also a great place to watch the sunset!

A helpful tip: You can access the Barrakka elevator (which takes you from the Three Cities ferry to the gardens) for free if you show your ferry token, so be sure to keep it after you pay. Otherwise, the cost is 1 euro. The alternative is to get there directly from the historic center of the capital, Valletta.

The most important and prestigious theater in Valletta, Malta's small capital, destroyed by bombing in 1942 during World War II; now in this busy square in the middle of the old town, Italian architect Renzo Piano has redesigned the theater as an open-air performance space, called Pjazza Teatru Rjal, where concerts and various cultural events are held during the summer.

Traditional cuisine only: delicious and hearty dishes. We highly recommend trying the rabbit or Timpana. We enjoyed it at a typical Maltese place in Valletta "Nenu The Artisan Baker." We wouldn't have stopped there frankly, but we were so hungry and we pounced without thinking twice: super! So if you are craving for good food and a slice of Maltese culture, Nenu The Artisan Baker is the place to be!

They are another public garden located at the other end of the peninsula on which Valletta sits. The Lower Barrakka Gardens also boast spectacular panoramic views of the harbor and Valletta's historic fortifications. What makes them unique is the monument to Alexander Ball, whose facade is in the shape of a neoclassical temple, creating a striking glimpse among the palm trees and Mediterranean plants. The best time to see these gardens is undoubtedly with the light of dawn!

There is a beautiful view of both Valletta and the sea in front of it. With its breathtaking beauty and is a gift from Queen Elizabeth II, who lived very happy years in Malta, as fans of The Crown and history buffs well remember.

Strait Street è uno spaccato affascinante della storia e della cultura di La Valletta,

Questa strada, chiamata Strada Stretta in maltese, era ben nota per la sua vita notturna tra i locali maltesi e tra i militari americani e britannici dalla fine del 1800 fino a dopo la seconda guerra mondiale. Anche se ha perso il suo carattere festaiolo, il suo fascino sbiadito attira ancora oggi i turisti.

The Paceville neighborhoods in St. Julian's are one of Malta's liveliest and most modern, where there is no shortage of trendy clubs and small restaurants. It is teeming with nightclubs: many of them have free admission and no obligation to consume. Also, being only a few meters apart, you can come and go as you please, even changing clubs more than once. We had a great time, as if there was no tomorrow getting in and out of one disco to another for free.

🇮🇹 I quartiere di Paceville, a St. Julian’s sono uno dei quartieri più vivi e moderni di Malta, dove non mancano i locali alla moda e ristorantini. Pullula di discoteche: molte di queste sono a ingresso gratuito e senza obbligo di consumazione. Inoltre, trovandosi a pochi metri di distanza l’una dall’altra, potrai entrare e uscire a piacimento, cambiando anche locale più di una volta. Ci siamo divertiti tantissimo, come se non ci fosse un domani ad entrare e uscire gratuitamente da una discoteca all'altra.
