After approximately 2.5 kilometers (1.5 miles) of walking, you'll reach Hare's Gap, a distinct mountain pass that offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. At Hare's Gap, leave the Trassey Track and take the Mourne Wall, which is a stone wall that crosses the Mournes. Follow the Mourne Wall as it ascends towards the summit of Slieve Bearnagh.
