Hótel Dyrhólaey
Hotel Dyrhólaey is a family-run hotel located in Vík í Mýrdal. Close to all the main attractions of South Iceland. The hotel is known for amazing views across Mýrdalur valley and Dyrhólaey peninsula.
In 1993 all we had was a small guesthouse with six rooms located in the Brekkur farmhouse. However the beauty of the Dyrhólaey peninsula, Mýrdalur and the surrounding landscape has attracted more and more visitors as the hotel offers good accommodation in a well-located position for access in all directions.
There are seven wings to the hotel, built at different times since 1998. Rooms facing south have a view across Mýrdalur to the sea, to Dyrhólaey national nature reserve, which is Iceland’s southernmost point. The rooms facing north look towards the mountain Búrfell backed by the dome of the Mýrdalur icecap. Rooms facing east and west look to the heathland and farmland either side of the hotel. Wherever you are you will be a part of the countryside with the sounds of golden plover and oyster catcher to greet you day.

Tento útulný hotel známý pro své úchvatné výhledy na údolí Mýrdalur a poloostrov Dyrhólaey nabízí pohodlné pokoje s vlastním sociálním zařízením, restauraci podávající tradiční islandská jídla, bar, posilovnu a prádelnu. Hotel je starší, ale nahrazuje to nádherný výhled, ideální na pozorování polární záře.
