On the coast of Heimaey, you’ll find this massive cliff that looks just like an elephant dipping its trunk into the ocean. It’s one of the island’s most famous landmarks, and it’s even cooler up close — the rock texture really does look like elephant skin. The best views are from a boat tour around the island, but you can also see it from land near the golf course by following the marked path from the car park.
