Shah-i-Zinda is a necropolis located in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. The name translates to "The Living King" and is associated with the legend that Qutham ibn Abbas, a cousin of Muhammad, is buried there. The complex includes mausoleums and other ritual buildings dating back to the 11th to 15th centuries. It is made up of three groups of structures connected by domed passages and has more than twenty buildings. Visitors can explore the historical and architectural significance of Shah-i-Zinda while soaking in its rich cultural heritage.
