Kvernufoss often gets overlooked by tourists, despite its stunning 98-foot cascade down lava rock cliffs. Located near the popular Skogafoss waterfall, Kvernufoss offers a quieter and more intimate experience for those willing to take the short 15-20 min hike to reach it (the hike start from Skógasafn museum). It's even possible to walk behind the falls for a unique perspective and some epic photo opportunities.
