Not many people know that you can actually hike Signal Hill from this side, along the Atlantic Sea Point with beautiful views of Sea Point and the ocean. From the ending point of this hike you could continue up Lion's Head and then back down the same way if you wanted. The path is steep and rocky in some parts and you won't find a lot of shade but I wouldn't say it's a super advanced hike.
